Delmarva Aquatics – Smyrna, Delaware
Delmarva Aquatics is known as being one of the largest suppliers of striped bass (Morone saxitilis) in the United States, and also for providing regional fish stocking, transport, and holding services. In addition to striped bass, Delmarva Aquatics can provide (when in season) bluegill, pumpkinseed, yellow perch, minnows, catfish, largemouth bass, and other temperate fish species at various stages of development.
In addition, Delmarva Aquatics has helped academic institutions and other researchers set up temporary and permanent fish holding facilities at universities, electrical generating stations, and other facilities for field experiments, mortality studies, and behavioral research.
Delmarva Aquatics has also provided fish for display at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and in Cabela’s™ retail locations, and has stocked fish on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., to support “National Go-Fishing Day” celebrated annually in June.
